Compost makes a valuable contribution to the natural fertilisation of plants in farms, private gardens and landscaping.

The composting of biogenic waste such as organic waste material, green and shrub cuttings as well as waste from agriculture and sewage sludge is a sensible way to produce a high-quality product such as humus or semi decomposed structural organics. These are primarily used for natural fertilisation for plants or for mulching. Its use can be found in small, private environments such as gardens, but also on a larger scale such as agriculture sites, ochards and landscaping.

For spreading in nature, various qualitative demands are made on the humus. Among other things, these are the grain size and low concentration of foreign materials, such as stones, metals, but also plastics and papers. Eventually, defined moisture contents can also be important in various applications.

Binder+Co supplies machines and solutions for the processing of fresh compost, humus and semi decomposed structural organics in order to achieve the quality requirements.

For screening, the BIVITEC is used, which delivers perfect screening results thanks to the self-cleaning effect of the flip flow principle. Coarse and light impurities such as plastic backs can be largely separated by air separation with BREEZER. However, due to new regulatory guidelines to curb plastic pollution of the environment, perfect compost can only be guaranteed by sensor-supported sorting. This is where the CLARITY sorting system comes in. CLARITY cannot  only sort out plastic bags but also small hard plastic parts, metal and stones to ensure highest qualities.

If it is necessary to dry the material to a desired moisture content, the DRYON a fluidised bed dryer system is used.
