Bucket wheel at work
The sand-water mix (feed slurry) – runs through a feed impact chamber which is protected against wear, and into the bucket wheel. The sand is scooped out of the tub by the buckets of the wheel body and dewatered. The waste water flows calmly over a variety of overflow edges which are attached to both sides of the bucket wheel. The solid fraction is separated in the waste water slurry.
