Together with its licence partner Dabmar Manufacturing Company, Binder+Co successfully presented at Electra Mining, South Africa’s largest mining fair, which took place in Johannesburg in mid-September. The open-air stand of around 260 square metres was mainly devoted to representing screening machines.
 
One highlight was the official handover of a double-deck BIVITEC screening machine to the South African Coal Preparation Society in connection with the Coal Tech 2020 project. This interest group bringing together all key players in coal processing (including BHP Billiton, Anglo Coal and Xstrata) applies itself specifically to the ‘dry screening of coal in the fine area’. The BIVITEC screening machine supplied will be used for testing purposes at various coal extraction sites in South Africa.
