Environmental Technology
 
In France, Binder+Co environmental technology prolonged their successful co-operation with one of the world's biggest glass recyclers. During the course of the past few years, Binder+Co has already successfully completed three large scale factory projects for mixed glass recycling in France. At the end of the year, operations will start at the fourth factory of this kind in Saint Menge, where installation is being carried out by Waagner-Biro Service-Montage. For the first time, the newly developed labelling remover will come into operation at this location to ensure the improved pre-conditioning of the cullet.
 
 A Binder+Co cleaning system for cullet will be installed in Dego, Italy. With the use of this system, pieces of glass will be washed and also dried with a Binder+Co fluidised bed dryer in order to relieve the cullet of dust and other organic dirt prior to sorting.
 
Packaging Technology
 
One of the biggest rice producers in Thailand is placing its trust in the packaging machinery of Binder+Co and, in February 2006, ordered an open-mouth bagging machine, PRINCIPAC.  With this order, in a prospect market, Binder+Co is making a strategically important step into the South East Asian region.
 
As far as Binder+Co packaging is concerned, Turkey is the land of sugar. In April 2006, the seventh set of machinery for the packaging of sugar was delivered to Meram, Anatolia.

Processing Technology
 
At the end of 2005, processing technology expanded its competence to the processing of salt. Subsequent to the delivery of numerous drying machines in this sector, from April 2006, four BIVITEC screening machines for the classification of salt will go into operation at one of the biggest salt mines in Germany. As a result of their choice, the owners of the screening equipment are expecting to be in the position to provide their customers with road salt more quickly than their competitors next winter.
