Binder+Co gives vehicle to Caritas

It has become a good tradition at Binder+Co, instead of sending presents to people all over the world at christmas, the assigned money is donated to well known organizations for social projects.

As one of the leading companies in the eastern part of the Austrian province of Styria, Binder+Co has tried for years to support social projects in Styria. Caritas, located in Graz has established itself as a competent partner for such activities. Numerous successful projects are lead by Caritas and some of them could be supported by Binder+Co.

It was at christmas 1998, when it came to the very first contact between Binder+Co and “Team Schmetterling”. It is Team Schmetterlings purpose to give disabled peaple the opportunity to spend their time with sports and social activities. Swimming, football, travels to Greece and international events are only a few of the numerous very successful activities.

Binder+Co and Team Schmetterling are continously in contact so it was possible to flexibly support various activities. Of course Binder+Co wanted also to support, when the demand for a new vehicle, necessary to travel to various events in Austria and internationally, came up. Binder+Co donated a certain amount of money to render the purchase of a vehicle.

On Wednesday, September 12th, a new VW Caravelle was given to Team Schmetterling in presence of Graz` bishop Egon Kapelari and Caritas president Franz Küberl. After the car was blessed by bishop Kapelari it was “sent on its way” with the best wishes of the numerous participants of the ceremony. Dr. Diego Freydl did convey the greetings of Binder+Co.
