Binder+Co revolutionary Paper-recycling!

The innovation in the field of paper recycling is called CARTAGO, the worlds very first system for the automatic sorting of paper! For the very first time cardboard is removed from the valuable de-inking-fraction by using an incident light process. The task was the design of a flexible sorting module, to achieve the growing requirements on accuracy and reliability in the processing of waste paper.
 
On a specially designed conveyor belt the paper is transported through the machine to pass the detection device. Independent camera-modules detect the colour information of the by incident light illuminated material, recognize millions of different colours and colour-shades and control the valves to eject the unbleached cardboard and dyed papers. The remaining bleached paper can immediately be used as a secondary raw material.
 
As the resolution of the detection devices, the optimal sorting width and the very short valve time the highest sorting quality can be achieved. The sorting parameters will be defined and evaluated by means of a PC with a touch screen. CARTAGO can be incorporated into central control systems, remote maintenance is made possible by a modem and data line.
