Binder+Co’s packaging business has been relocated to STATEC BINDER GmbH since 31st October 2008 – a joint venture between Binder+Co and the former Statec Anlagentechnik GmbH – also Gleisdorf-based.
The merger of the two former competitors has heralded the emergence of an international top player in the packaging technology segment covering the whole range of high-performance open-bag packaging and supplementary bag making and labelling as well as palletizing technology. STATEC BINDER is the global market leader in the product segment high-performance open-bag packaging.
About Open-Bag Packaging
Open-bag packaging means filling pre-made bags made of paper, plastics or plastic fabrics with free-flowing bulk materials such as fertilisers, plastic granulates, animal feeds or salts. The filled bags weigh between 5 and 50kg. The important technical challenges include highest possible packaging performance together with high plant availability and low error rate.
